Art Deco Silvered Bonzo Rattle, and Teething Ring of Bakelite. Bonzo the Dog is a fictional cartoon character first created in 1927 by British comic strip artist George Studdy. This Rattle is based on the design. The Body has 2-3rinne ball rattles , and the body “rings” when shaken, and the base has connected holes like a reindeer bell so it “chimes”; the upper ring is believed for “Teething” and is of Bakelite. All is in excellent condition with a soft aged patina, but no damage to mention and no repairs.
