Art Deco Early German Porcelain Bonzo in Lustre Finish. “Bonzo the Dog” is a fictional cartoon character first created in 1922 by British comic strip artist George Studdy. This statuette is based on the design.  In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Hallmarked to the base illegible, but known to be a German design. Dimensions approx..: 17.5cm overall height x 10cm wide x 9.5cm deep (varies).  Germany. Circa 1920’s
