1940s String of Solid Malachite Stone beads

Art Deco Solid Malachite Stone Necklace with tapered beads large to small at clasp. Generally all Spheres, but naturally slightly irregular from the natural stone shapes. Excellent presentation, brilliant colours, with intricate, naturally striped Gems from fine, hair thin stripes to nearly solid green and all variations and curves in-between. No two stones identical in pattern or size, just all natural. The spheres are all separated with a tiny green glass bead, 2 beads at each side of clasp.  All in perfect condition, with no chips. Original small screw brass barrel type, works as new. Dimensions approx.: Overall length 56.5cm; Beads vary 1.5cm dia. to 0.6cm dia.. Europe.
