An Art Deco Sideboard in original condition attributed to Louis Epstein


Impressive, totally original, Art Deco Sideboard attributed to Louis Epstein with pedestals each side, a drawer at top. The shape of the central column of 3 drawers are an elaborate shape between the two columns. All surfaces, top, drawers, doors, are finely detailed, with quartered veneers , reflecting each other and creating symmetrical features to all panels, a 360 Degree symmetry to each.  All in old, aged original patina with wear but no real damage to report. The metal fittings are of high quality manufacture, with doors fitted with manually, self closing sprung tangs that automatically lock if set with key in lock position, if key removed, or simply open with a small lever if in the “unlock” key position. Dimensions approx..: 1745cm wide. Columns each 56cm wide, Central draws 63cm wide 107cm high max., central area 100.5cm high; x 55.5 cm deep at flat front columns, or 61.5cm deep from point of bow Drawer points.   England. Circa 1930.
