Vintage Solid Carnelian Sphere Necklace on Gold Plated Sterling Silver necklace

Vintage Solid Carnelian Sphere Necklace with heavy gold plated metal Toggle and Eye, Hallmarked “Shakira”, a well known Crown Trifari International Designer piece. The Toggle clasp is of high quality and elegantly decorated, similar to those found on Gold Pocket Watches.The Toggle is designed so it can be used as the pendant with name and gold emphasis. Intermittent decorations of gilt spheres asymmetrically spaced touch of Deco, and larger gilt, decorated “barrel” spacers add to the contrast with the precious Carnelian spheres. All excellent condition with no damage or losses to be found. Dimensions approx.: Length 84cm, all matched Carnelian spheres 8mm dia.; Toggle 2cm dia.. U.S.A. Circa 1960’s.
