Unusual French Jean Cocteau Brooch

Rare Vintage Jean Cocteau Brooch, Carved, inlaid Gilt Silver to black Galalith, with original pinned attachment with a French Slide Safety Clasp, all in excellent condition and soft aged patina with clasp working perfectly. The gilt silver gives “shadow” to the finely detailed Ladies’ face, and the rear clasp works perfectly, as the pin cover slides out to allow the pin to drop and clear the opening, but alternatively, sliding inward covers the slot, preventing any pin movement when closed.
