Rare Heavily Carved Bakelite Medallion Hinged Clamper Bracelet

Outstanding Art Deco Carved Bakelite Clamper Bangle in heavily carved True Yellow with large central medaillon The symmetrical carving is of Leaves either side of the Medallion, with a Large Maple Leaf and other Foliage to the Medallion itself. The bangle is in excellent condition with a soft, aged patina to what is otherwise, as new condition. The hinge is unmarked, working perfectly and all pins tight and intact; there are 2 old type slot head screws to rear of medallion still intact and tight, (as Bakelite cannot be glued). Dimensions approx.: Medallion ellipse 5cm x 13.7cm x 0.8cm thick; Wrist closed ellipse interior 5.9cm x 4.3cm, Opening to 4cm max. at front across medallion to band edge; Band width Front 2.8cm  to 2cm at rear, thickness 6mm to 8mm, varies.
