Lovely Art Nouveau Night and Day Cameo Brooch set in silver

Outstanding quality Art Nouveau Brooch with a Silver Frame surrounding a Finely carved Shell Night and Day Cameo.  Of Italian origin and clearly Hallmarked 800 to the top rear which is coin silver standard. The Carving is of extremely high quality and in intricate detail; the silver surround has 4 strong claws securing the Cameo, with the silver edge also finely handcrafted; the rear has a French style roll-over safety clasp in excellent working condition, and there is no damage to report at all; a soft aged patina and no noticeable wear. Dimensions approx.: Outer  elliptical frame 4.5cm wide x 3.3cm high, depth 1cm shell height, 1.5cm including clasp. Italy. Circa 1910.
