Italian Vintage 1960s Sterling Silver Horse head pendant

Vintage Sterling silver Necklace “925” Hallmarked Chain, also “ITALY” on chain tab. Necklace Pendant is Silver, finely designed and detailed Horse; the horse Hallmark is extensive, and obviously of importance, consisting of a circle  (maybe representing the Sun?) with radiating blocks around the outside with Alpha characters inside, probably the Makers Mark; under this is a line of other larger letters/numerals, probably the Jewellers Initials and Silver quality. The hanging of the Horse head uses 2 loops, achieving 2 things; the head always is at the correct angle, and also the double loop is more secure, in case one should wear or break? This is a quality piece of Jewellery, particularly the Pendant. Dimensions approx.: Chain Length 60cm; Pendant 34mm wide x 32mm high x 2-3mm thick. Italy.
