French Art Deco Mood lamp of a Deer on a Marble base

A French Art Deco Mood Lamp with Stag Deer with huge antlers with the original Crackle finish ovoid sphere glass lamp shade. The reclining deer and lamp is all in amazing condition, The Deer Statue is finished in French Japanned finish of Bronze and gilt with “aged” black enamel highlights Italian Potoro Marble in Black with fine veins of white and “gold” marble, with bevel to each corner. The original switch is intact, but bypassed and totally rewired to Australian Standards, using sympathetic materials identical to original, and a Di-pole Inline Safety switch Installed.  Dimensions approx.: Marble, 24cm wide x 8cm deep x 2cm thick; Deer 14cm wide x 9.5cm high x 6cm across antlers; overall max. height to lamp top 16cm; Glass shade 12cm high x 10.5cm dia. max.. France. Circa 1920’s.
