French Art Deco Mazda Lamp – two On hold

Art Deco, French Mazda Lamp with Gilt metal fittings, White Opalescent Shade, and the traditionally shaped timber column and base. This lamp design dates back to the early 1920’s and is an iconic shape with only minor variations to the metal finishes, timber colours, and size over many, many decades since the very original design. The base has a “pencil” curved edge to French polished finished, flat base. The glass and structure is all in excellent condition, soft age patina all over from obvious careful use over the past decades, negligible wear, but no damage at all to describe. Totally re-wired in sympathetic style, triple  twisted cloth cord, having a Di-pole safety switch inline and an earth cord to comply with Australian Regulations. . Dimensions are approx..: Overall height 61.5cm, Base 18cm dia.; glass shade 24cm dia. at top x 20cm high. Please refer to the other one of these lamps (only difference is 2cm taller, and brass/gilt finish to metal) . France. Circa 1930’s.
