Art Deco Russian Cannon Corkscrew

Art Deco Russian Cannon as a hidden Corkscrew and Bottle Opener to the base. Very early model with red and blue enamel Cyrillic enamelled onto the bronze barrel on a forged iron Support that also becomes the Bottle opener when turned over, and when the barrel is taken off, the corkscrew is displayed. An amazing design, as when in the corkscrew position, it fits perfectly into your hand with the screw part between the centre fingers, and ergonomically the best position for maximum pressure to push into the cork. Not just made, but designed properly for the function. Later models moved to raised Cyrillic’s and chrome finish. Russia. Circa 1930’s.
