Art Deco French Clock of Diana the Huntress


French Art Deco multi coloured Marble Clock, depicting “Diana” as an Archer in a finely detailed and coloured “Font De Art” statue, that is so intricate, it shows even the toes and fingernails, with all original finishes intact. Face of Clock is enamelled and marked “L.Morley”, from “Cerilly” (France). Clock has been serviced and timed. Soft age patina to exterior of the rear nickel door that still retains the original fabric filter to stop dust entering.  The brass clock has the original pendulum and bell included (removed for interior image shing Serial Number “55476” to the workings), and the rear works are also stamped with a circle containing “AU Durand Et Cie”, (name of French Clock Maker). The clock stands on small bronze pyramids as feet, and the case is of 5 different types of marble, all in impeccable condition. Dimensions approx..: maximums, 31cm wide x 21.5cm high.
