Art Deco French Celluloid and Sterling Silver Hair Comb

Art Deco rare French Hair Comb Decoration. Very few of these have survived over the many decades. The teeth Body is Celluloid with the upper intricate and finely detailed Sterling Silver, aged finish in a fine design of Grapes Leaves. Assembly is hidden rivetted to celluloid. Fantastic presentation. This piece is “as found” A/F. The outer celluloid teeth at each side have been lost, but neatly and symmetrically trimmed and no damage is visible, particularly in use.. Dimensions approx.: width 8.4cm wide max. x 5cm high; Silver decoration 8.3cm wide x 2.4cm high max.. France. Circa 1920’s.
