Art Deco Finely carved Chess set with box

Art Deco finely Carved Chess Set with Folded box Inlaid inside and out, inlaid as a Backgammon board inside.  The Chess set is complete, and the box and all pieces are in immaculate condition. There is also a sliding lid box with central division to take the Black and White Chess pieces. This inner box still has the original, perfect “CHESS” paper label, and is intricately made with fine Mortice joints and all in as new condition. The inner main box retains 3 of the 4 recessed guides to take the Backgammon pieces that have been unfortunately separated over the Decades. The original Booklet of 16 pages, by “H.B. FAREBROT HER LTD., LONDON. N.19” is included, and refers to “THE Laws of the Game of CHESS” as the Title. .
