An Early Black Basalt Teapot in a Grapevine Pattern Wedgwood Design

Amazing. Beautiful and Rare Early Black Basalt Teapot. Grapevine Pattern on Barrel Shape design. Pinecone finial to lid, also all immaculate, with grapevine detail, and small “breathing” hole to relieve steam seal. Possibly early Wedgwood Basalt Ware. Excellent original condition with extremely minor fritting to edge of spout; couple half pinhead size, negligible, only visible under very close examination, and only mentioned to be absolutely precis in the description. No chips or cracks.  England. Circa 1890.
