An Art Deco Marbled Red Prystal Bakelite Bangle with Stepped Edges

An Art Deco Bangle with Stepped edges in Marbled Red Bakelite Translucent Prystal instead of a solid colour. Prystal was invented by the Catalan company as a variation in the Bakelite theme, during 1930-40. The Marbling is thin veins of a slightly darker red/orange amongst the translucent main body. The Geometric stepped edges are a prime example of the Deco influence. Perfect condition with no damage, just a fine aged patina that can only come from many decades of careful use.
