An Art Deco Black leather Handbag or Purse with a celluloid butterfly

A rare Art Deco Handbag in really exceptional condition.  The Handbag is in fine Black Calf Leather with chrome fittings and highlight of Celluloid Butterfly to front. The interior is centrally divided with a chrome snap clasp with a centrally divided partition in strong, black and white taffeta for e.g., stamps or coins, etc.. All in excellent condition with aged patina and minor wear to ring clasps attaching to the handbag chrome, upper snap clasp. Dimensions are approx..: 16cm high, 31.5cm to peak of hanging handle; 21cm wide at base to 11cm wide at chrome clasp x 4cm deep at base to 2.5cm at chrome clasp (varies). England. Circa 1930’s.
