Vintage French Champagne bucket for Ruinart


Ruinart Champagne House, first established in 1729, the longest standing ‘Maison’ in Reims.  The Bucket is elegant as expected with silver polished surfaces, heavy Gilt/brass ring handles and Beaded edge detail on lower rim detail.  The front Name is all in recessed black enamel inset to all the Logo, being the 2 Lions holding a crown above the shield, all above the intricate impressed, detailed name  “RUINART” over “CHAMPAGNE”. Marked stamped into the exterior, centre base, “MOD MEAUX” to upper curve, “ARGT” (silver finish) across centre, “MADE IN FRANCE” around lower base curve. All in excellent condition with only very light aged patina to the inner lower edge, otherwise near new presentation all over. Dimensions are approx.: 22.5cm top dia.  x 21cm high, and base of 12cm dia.. France. Mid Century
