French Mid Century Champagne bucket


Champagne Bucket Veuve Bricourt in polished Aluminium with large knuckles to each side with rings to assist lifting and extra style. The Martin de Bouzy family took over the Winery from the Kupferberg family, who was in the wine Industry dating back to Champagne Charles Koch times, 1820 in Avize. In 1998 , MARTIN De Bouzy bought out Bricout & Koch from KUPFERBERG Company,  Bricout was producing 2 million bottles Champagne, and 800,000 of Delbeck. Bucket dimensions are approx.. 20xcm high x 18.5cm internal diameter to 26cm to outer knuckles and Base of 14cm. The Bucket has an enamelled, recessed plaque to the front, and at the centre base is a Manufacture Hallmark, with in “M.O.D. Meaux” over “MADE IN FRANCE” at bottom, with “ARGIT” at centre. France.
