French Art Deco Dining table with extensions

Art Deco Large Extension Table, including 2 Ebonised Leaves to match the black grain in the Macassar Table body. The Macassar timber was sourced from a Northern Africa, French Colony. Table comfortably seats 6 people without extensions, 10 with 1, or 12 seats with both leaves, with room to spare. Skyscraper influenced with stepped edge around top perimeter and sides of all leg vertical edges, and rounded edges to table corners and ends of feet and rounded edges to vertical leg edges. The Ebony extension leaves are ebonised black, match the black grain stripe, but also contrast to the overall table and make a real statement. The leaves are fitted to match the table end curves and then have replicated curves at ends to maintain the overall table shape. The extension leaves are well made, very strong and the leaves are double pegged to stop extensions from moving once installed. Condition is fantastic with only a soft aged patina and no damage to mention. Dimensions, useable area without steps, are approx..: width 180cm no leaves, 279cm with two extensions  x 99cm wide x 76cm high. France. Circa 1930
