Art Deco French jewelled Ladies wrist watch


Art Deco French Jewelled Lady’s Cocktail Wrist Watch with original black twisted leather band in amazing original condition. Marked SWISS to rear of clasp, with adjustable gilt dividers holding leather loops together, and the dividers match gilt clasp with no wear, only slight Verdigris to rear joints. The Case is solid European 925 (hallmarked) Sterling Silver. Other Hallmarks to the case are 2 B’s  facing back to back. Plus an inverted, impressed mark within a lozenge, that appears to be a Fox Head, probably a French Province Mark. The face is perfect. All second markings are complete, and the white spots on Dial images are reflections or camera flash only. The inset Mine Cut Crystal Gems, vary slightly from angle reflection, but are all complete with no problems to mention and are all secure. An amazing creation, being a piece of Jewellery as well as a watch. The side perimeter of the case is also finely engraved with a continuous Scroll (or curling Wave) pattern. The face has black Arabic Numerals with a distinct Nouveau influence with curled edges to the numbers, black baton divisions between the numbers for every second, and printed in black Swiss Made, below the 6 position; the hands are clean Gunmetal Blue and the white face is perfect with no deterioration. Internally, the workings are engraved Swiss Made with also 15 Jewels, plus the speed adjustment R (retard) and A (accelerate). The watch has been serviced and keeps excellent time considering age.  Dimensions are approx..: Overall band length 17.5cm; Watch body 4cm long including band loops x 1.2cm (excluding crown).  France.
